AXA Global Pitch Day for Kickstart 2022 Cohort

Our Global Partner AXA Switzerland hosted a virtual Kickstart Pitch Day last Monday for their international offices to learn more about our successful and innovative partnership. 🌎

The event included an introduction to the Innovation Gilde by Tatjana Bender, Head of Corporate Development & Innovation at AXA, followed by a presentation from Søren Nielsen, Entrepreneur & Author of the book “Death by Innovation Theater”. 🎭

Matthias Gasser and Deborah Dhanapal, Open Innovation Managers at AXA Switzerland facilitated a panel discussion on Best-Practice Innovation with Tatjana, Søren, Claudia Bienentreu, Head of Open Innovation at AXA Switzerland, and Katka Letzing, CEO & Co-Founder at Kickstart Innovation. The panel shared their thoughts on what makes a pilot successful and the right balance between proximity to the core business matter and innovation. ⚖️

For the finale, the audience heard pitches from our 2022 scaleups; CyberSmart from 🇬🇧, Surfly from 🇳🇱, keleya digital-health solutions - we are hiring! & medicalmotion GmbH from 🇩🇪 and Unique & Share.P - Sustainable Mobility Solution from 🇨🇭, demonstrating their innovative solutions and the caliber of companies Kickstart sources for our partners, such as AXA, every year.
